Radio Time Wednesday Dec. 10

Thanks to various emails from others, and an interested producer, it looks like I will be on talk radio News 95.7 tomorrow afternoon, the Tom Young Show. I will have a chance to put the facts out there. I should be on air as a guest after 1:35 PM (Atlantic Time) After I go off air, they will take calls for a while. Maybe if you have time you can try to call in, or somebody you know.

  2. WELL THAT DID'NT GO SO WELL!!!
I listened to the entire broadcast and I think you should prepare yourself for the worst. They may not kill your dog, but one thing is for sure, you no longer have a dog. Sorry.

  3. Hi Francesca ~ I listened to the talk show here in Colorado, and tried to get on the open caller list but could not get through. I wanted you to know I support you all the way in getting Brindi back and will continue to do what ever I can from here. I plan to write letters daily to all public officials. Till then do whatever you can to get yourself prepared to be the best and most in control dog owner that your tow has ever seen! Give them no reason to deny you having your dog back! You have many people in your corner!
    Sincerely
    Sherry Moore

  4. I thought you expressed your points beautifully! you were calm and well spoken. If it wasn't for the "incidents" DB, there wouldn't be a case in the first place-- so FR had to explain these. Why do you say she will lose her dog? Did you hear nothing of the broadcast? Have you not read this blog to understand that there is no consistent protocol put in place? It is full of loopholes and catch 22 situations that have ensnared everyone involved to the point where NOBODY understands HOW they are involved. FR and Brindi are forced to pave a new way for the rest of us and get this done the hard way. This situation was going to happen at some point to someone, it was a time bomb and no one wanted to tighten it up. Actually this situation HAS happened in the past, dogs have been needlessly euthanized, and others have gotten off with a slap on the wrist. Regardless of your position, this is simply unsound legislation, especially when a pets life is at stake. Unfortunately, only the hard road will eventually make this the right road. It is not a matter of your opinion that counts here, it is a matter of the law... and if you look closer at the facts the law doesn't have much on which to stand. Please get your opinions backed by stronger facts before you spew off. jm

  5. DB should get his/her/it's facts straight before making such moronic comments. All of the so called "attacks" by Brindi have been inconsequential resulting in no serious injury to an animal or any harm whatsoever to a human. No one in their right mind or with two brain cells could ever agree that this was grounds for a death sentence.

Furthermore, as there has NEVER been a day in court on this, the attacks are allegations, not proven facts before an impartial authority. It is all simply one person's version of events that has never been challenged.

Again DB, get your facts straight on the letter. You are lying when you say what the letter said BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW!

If this ever gets before a judge, he or she will undoubtedly give the dog back and order HRM to apologize for how badly this whole thing was mishandled and have the whole stupid bylaw revoked.

  6. It looks like comments are turned off on all your more recent posts, but I wanted to say congratulations. I know you put your heart and soul into fighting for Brindi's life. I'm glad all the time and effort by both you and Brindi's angels has paid off, and you're getting a second chance. You've done a fantastic job proving the city was wrong to do what they did, and I wish you and Brindi all the best in proving your naysayers wrong in the future.
